It took the wholesaler to tell him I was correct and showed him how to do it. I recently did my research and was astounded at one Broker who had NO Clue when I told him he ran the illustration wrong. Even to this day, several Brokers and a few Wholesalers are unaware of making this policy contract efficient. To top that off, ONLY a hand full of people figured out how to 'back-door' the software to manipulate the policy to MAXIMIZE it's potential. The IUL has been around since the late 1990's but did not begin to take off until 2012-14 when a few intelligent people figured out different strategies to use the IUL with. Another Carrier finally seeing 'the light' and use of the IUL!!
